Raku firing Techniques

A 3-day workshop to learn Raku Firing Techniques, a Japanese way of firing pottery. You will be introduced to the concept of Raku and making articles using clay and glazes developed for Raku firing. 

  • Day 1
    • Introduction to the concept of Raku Firing and techniques. Making articles for Raku Firing using clay developed for Raku.
  • Day 2
    • Bisque firing pre-made Raku articles and trial glaze firing 
  • Day 3
    • Repeating the Raku Firing with articles made by students
  • Minimum batch size: 4 participants
